Germania Farm Mutual Insurance Association is excited to announce the 2026 Germania Photo Contest! If you have a passion for photography and a love for rural landscapes and lifestyles, this is your opportunity to showcase your talent and win cash prizes.
Who Can Enter? The contest is open to Germania Farm Mutual Insurance Association members and their immediate family members, who must be residents of Texas. Immediate family members include spouses, children, siblings, and parents, including those related by marriage.
Contest Dates: The contest begins March 1, 2026, and ends Sept. 1, 2026.
How to Enter: To participate, submit one original photo featuring a person and their animal companion that reflects rural settings and rural lifestyles. Email your entry to gsocial@germaniainsurance.com. Limit one (1) photo per person and per email address.
Important Entry Guidelines:
- All entries must be original and unpublished.
- AI-generated images, including generative fills, are not allowed.
- Entries must be submitted digitally—no mail-in or in-person submissions.
- Proof of submission is not proof of receipt; please ensure your entry meets all requirements.
- Germania reserves the right to reject entries deemed inappropriate or not aligned with the contest theme.
Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged based on their alignment with the rural theme and overall visual appeal.
Prizes:
- First Place: $250 cash prize
- Second Place: $200 cash prize
- Two Runners-Up: $100 cash prize each
Additional Contest Conditions:
- Entries will not be returned.
- By submitting a photo, entrants grant Germania the right to use, modify, and publish their entries in any media, with no further compensation beyond the contest prizes.
- Winners may be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release.
- Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes.
- The contest is governed by Texas law.
Winners Announcement: Want to know if you won? A list of winners will be available upon request by emailing gsocial@germaniainsurance.com. Germania will also publish the list of winners and their photos to our public website.
