Helping One Student To Succeed
Mentor Program
Germania Employees lend a helping hand Helping One Student To Succeed (HOSTS) program at three elementary schools in Brenham. The HOSTS program allows each employee to become a child’s mentor at either Brenham Elementary, Alton Elementary or Krause Elementary. Mentors provide these children with extremely valuable gifts, time and attention. They work with the children, one-on-one, to help them with their reading skills and listen to the children about any concerns they may have. The mentors and children develop a close and meaningful relationship during this year-long project.
