Paul Ehlert – First Vice President

Paul joined Germania in July 2004 as Executive Vice President.  In January 2005, he was appointed First Vice President to oversee the departments of information services, marketing and training, and corporate; as well as legislative and other corporate responsibilities.

He is a native of Brenham and a graduate of Brenham High School. He graduated from the University of Texas in 1975, and graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1978.

Paul practiced law in Brenham from 1978 through June of 2004. He served as Germania’s corporate counsel since 1998. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the College of the State Bar of Texas and the Washington County Bar Association. He is also a Fellow of the State Bar Foundation and a past member and chairperson of the District 8A, Panel 4 Grievance Committee for the State Bar.

Paul’s civic involvement includes having served as a director of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and as a trustee and chairperson of Trinity Community Medical Center, Trinity Care Center, and the Trinity Foundation. He currently serves as a director and Immediate Past Chair of the Economic Development Foundation of Brenham.  Paul also serves as Director of Blue Bell Creameries, USA, Inc., Advisory Director of Brenham Wholesale Grocery Co., Inc., Director of Brenham Cemetery Association and Director of Brenham Children’s Chorus.
